This role will be based in either Sunnyvale or San Francisco.

We’re seeking a highly experienced Design Manager to lead critical end-user facing experiences. Our ideal candidate will help the team up-level skills, champion the user perspective, and be a force for delight and impact. You will oversee the entire design process from strategy through execution and continued iterations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to drive alignment while fostering a culture of openness, inclusivity, and growth. Responsibilities:
Define, direct, and oversee the creative direction of our suite of products
Proactively seek opportunities to drive marketplace growth and integrate with other LinkedIn business solutions
Effectively communicate ideas, design rationale and specifics of the design approach
Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements
Manage, coach, and provide directed feedback to product designers and leads to deliver the final product
Application Requirements:

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing and directing creative projects
Experience directing and guiding a team through a complete lifecycle of several launched projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong experience in delivering/managing large-scale projects independently; Projects are forward-thinking and shape the future of the business;
Demonstrated ability to drive strategy and vision for respective projects and teams
Strong ability to deliver design solutions for unstructured problems that have many dependencies
Embraces ambiguity and can transform it into effective, actionable plans
Strong ability to develop a team to become the next generation of key contributors within the design team – promoting sharing work openly and welcoming feedback
Identifies cross-team dependencies
Brings multiple design teams together to drive broader alignment

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $146,000 to $238,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
