Job Description

This role can be based in our San Francisco, Mountain View, New York, NY, Chicago, or Omaha office. At LinkedIn, we trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams. This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.  

The GTM Strategy and Ops Manager will be a key member of the Central Operations team within Global Business Organization (GBO). They will partner closely with Deal Desk leadership, Central Ops, cross GTM Ops teams, and leadership to advise, manage and drive recommendations across Deal Desk priorities as part of GTM Operations. They will build connective tissue across leaders, teams and programs to create leverage, optimize growth and scale the business. 

The Central Operations team is made up of operational, policy, and revenue driving teams that are the engine behind LinkedIn’s SaaS and Marketing businesses.  This position offers an exciting opportunity to partner with Deal Desk leadership and bring together a variety of business functions to establish and deliver on the business strategies.   

Responsibilities 

  • Use problem solving skills to logically structure ambiguous problems, conduct data-driven analysis, extrapolate key insights, and deliver recommendations  

  • Partner closely with Deal Desk leadership to drive business strategies, lead complex programs and present key insights and recommendations to senior business leaders 

  • Learn quickly, be agile and proactive, as well as assume ownership for broad tracks and global workstreams  

  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the business to ensure it is operating as successfully as possible, stepping in to help drive improvements as needed 

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the SaaS and Marketing businesses, with the ability to understand the big picture and drop into process level details as needed 

  • Conduct research on industry trends and gather competitive intelligence as input to strategies and recommendations 

  • The role will be based within the US, with the ability to travel domestically and internationally as required. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree in economics, engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science or related discipline 

  • 6+ years of experience in management consulting, SaaS and/or Marketing, investment banking/private equity/venture capital, corporate strategy or sales operations experience  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Deal Desk, Pricing experience at SaaS and Marketing businesses 

  • Comfortable with data and ambiguity, and enjoys solving business problems through analysis and story-telling  

  • Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel 

  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication, experience with senior level management  

  • Comfortable interacting one-to-one with individual technical contributors, senior leaders, as well as coaching teams. 

  • A love for change and an ability to thrive in a complex and fast-moving environment  

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead meetings and guide cross-functional teams through decision-making processes  

  • Intellectually curious, strong emotional intelligence, resilient, passionate and humble  

  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams  

  • Experience working on or in global Enterprise businesses  

  • Proven track record of program management for large, cross-functional, strategic enterprise-wide programs  

  • Prior people management experience 

  • MBA or applicable advanced degree

The pay range for this role is $123,000-$199,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
