Within our Marketing Solutions business we are looking for a Account Director to join our team to help us realize our goal of empowering businesses to reach, engage and convert their professional audience at scale.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering sales strategies, driven by data and the strength of your experience, to bring LinkedIn’s digital marketing solutions to the world’s most sophisticated marketers. By being their trusted advisor, you will help our top tier clients realise their growth plans by connecting them to ever-expanding opportunities among our members.
Responsibilities:
Manage and develop relationships with [strategic/potential] direct customers and advertising agencies for LinkedIn, working closely with C-levels, top executives and decision makers.
Lead as a disciplined business manager, who is able to map out success for a portfolio of clients for the coming quarters and follow a sales process.
Working closely with your Client Solutions Manager, deliver a consultative sales approach for each client that answers their marketing objectives
Identify and build net new customer relationships
Reach and exceed sales quotas while contributing to overall vertical and team goals
Lead with insights through smart client research, industry-specific information and trends
Travel may be required
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
5 + years of client relationship management or sales experience
Business fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of solution-based selling
Experience of using insights to drive commercial success
Experience of working in a target-driven environment
Ability to plan and prioritise your time effectively
Ability to drive results and collaborate with major customers, creating relationships across many levels of a client
Ability to identify and build new customer relationships
Understanding of marketing or media landscape
Understanding of B2B or finance, professional services and technology verticals
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
