We are looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to join our Product Management team and drive the success and growth of our core visual media products - images and video. Media products are viewed billions of times per month across LinkedIn and are at the heart of how our members express themselves, share their ideas, and connect with their network. This role will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of how our members use media, crafting delightful creation and consumption experiences informed by that expertise.
This role will partner closely with teams across the organization to ensure consistency, reliability, and quality of experience for our media products. You’ll work closely with design, engineering, user research, and other cross-functional partners to build a compelling vision for how our media products can make LinkedIn more valuable to our members.
Responsibilities
Create and articulate a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap for your assigned product areas. Get alignment from cross-functional team members and executives for you vision and strategy.
Drive product requirements, product roadmap and product design of new features and enhancements by synthesizing needs LinkedIn members and internal stakeholders
Work cross-functionally with engineering, product marketing, and product design to build, release, and promote new features.
Define product metrics, objectives, and key results to help guide, prioritize, and measure the success of the strategy, product initiatives, and releases.
Clearly communicate product benefits to our members and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
BS/BA Degree in a technology related field OR equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in product management or equivalent role
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on scaled media products for global companies or diverse customer bases
Experience building cross-platform product experiences with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch
Strong understanding of the most recent trends around consumer media usage including keen understanding of format (image, video) and platform (web, mobile) trends
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and their relevance to the marketplace.
Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams

The pay range for this role is $141,000 to $230, 000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
