We have an exciting opportunity to join our Employee Communications team as Senior Employee Communications Manager. We’re seeking an individual who’s a creative storyteller able to partner with the most senior leaders at our company to create and deliver engaging content around our business strategy during Company Connect, our bi-weekly companywide meeting hosted by our CEO. 

Our ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, deep business acumen, and creative communications skills, while being able to oversee the work of multiple partner teams that support the day-to-day execution of our company meeting. They’ll be able to quickly dive in to learn how parts of our business work and partner with leaders at all levels to iterate and provide feedback. They’ll be passionate about storytelling with a creative flair, with a pulse on what is top of mind for employees and an eagerness to foster an open, inclusive and diverse community. Planning is a critical part of this role and managing execution of the bi-weekly meeting and the multiple technical and production partners that help us pull it off is equally important.

You’ll be joining our Channels & Content Center of Excellence and will thrive in building the next generation of communications to our employees. You’ll partner with the entire Global Employee Communications team to source and amplify the content, working cross-functionally, across geographies and in a fast-moving, innovative organization.

The candidate should also be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information, have attention to detail, be open minded to challenge the status quo, and work in a rapidly changing organization while inspiring excellence from themselves and partners. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Be a partner to the Channels & Content Center of Excellence leader, creating and delivering an editorial strategy for Company Connect in support of our annual business plan. 
  • Partner with Executives, senior leaders and our Employee Communications team to shape and deliver compelling content that inspires and aligns our employees on our strategy, goals and priorities.
  • Manage the end-to-end content lifecycle of key elements of our bi-weekly company meeting, including promotional communications, deep dives and Q&A, to efficiently deliver information across our company. 
  • Encourage employee connection to our business strategy and culture through consistent and compelling opportunities for participation, online and in-person. 
  • Support the development of special, one-off experiences that recognize key business and cultural moments. 
  • Amplify reach by developing new promotional and distribution strategies in partnership with our broader Employee Communications team and production partners. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience 
  • 5+ years communications experience working with and providing guidance to senior leaders
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in communications working directly on internal meetings and events, with a emphasis on business strategy

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Excellent communication skills and experience working on business storytelling, with an ability to connect dots across an organization. 
  • Exceptional program management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, self-start, and prioritize work in a rapidly evolving environment 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, see the bigger picture and steer outcomes  through collaboration at all organizational levels and with various cross-functional partners 
  • Deep understanding of employee audiences
  • Exceptional problem-solving, strategic, and analytical skills 
  • Experience working in, or closely with, a large-scale comms team

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $111,000 to $174,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
