This role can be based in New York, San Francisco, Sunnyvale.
The Senior Program Manager, Communications will own and execute organization-wide programs and projects to help Marketing & Communications employees do the best work of their careers at LinkedIn.
We’re looking for an individual that thrives on enabling organizations to run more effectively while inspiring a high standard of excellence. Working within the Office of the CMCO, this position is responsible for supporting daily operations of CMCO communications as well as ideating, developing, and delivering key strategic programs across the M&C organization. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, highly collaborative, multi-tasker with excellent program management skills to advance the CMCO’s agenda and operationalize work across teams. Responsibilities:
Work with executive leadership and communications partners to define and deliver the roadmap for effective communications to Marketing & Communications employees, as well as a programmatic and scalable approach to narrating the OCMCO agenda to executives and stakeholders across LinkedIn. Be an internal expert on program development and project management for the communications programs, including partnering with Communication partners and chiefs of staff to plan & execute key org-wide touchpoints (e.g. all-hands, leadership mtgs, offsite, etc) and owning and managing the central CMCO communications calendar. This role will operationalize key culture and communication goals and initiatives by setting appropriate expectations upfront and tracking progress to ensure that OCMCO commitments and priorities are executed. Continuously identify ways to improve the team's operational workflow and drive process improvements, facilitate efficient decision making and cross-team alignment, navigate complex change management processes, and define the content strategy for M&C employees’ digital experience on our own internal channels.
Successful candidates in this position will have excellent organizational and written communication skills, the ability to balance effort with impact, as well as creativity to deliver beautiful and functional outputs with limited lead time or directive guidance.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in program/project management, with 2+ years managing large, transformational initiatives in an enterprise organization.
- 5+ years of experience in content management, communications, PR or similar roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Consultative. Operates with a seek to understand mindset, ask thoughtful questions that get to the root of the problem, and help craft solutions that span executive stakeholders to independent contributors.
- Demonstrated experience working with senior leaders and executives on all phases of program/project development.
- Able to influence and push teams to drive tangible results by maintaining a 30,000 ft view of the project and a focus on the objective, while also self-executing work with pride.
- Cross-functional collaboration skills, and comfort with using influence instead of authority to drive collaboration.
- Leadership skills, ability to lead partners consistently through times of uncertainty, pressure, or frustration.
- Proactiveness and creativity, to offer solutions and new work streams that improves chances of project success.
- Comfort with autonomy, and ability to make decisions without direct guidance.
- Detail oriented, comfortable with diving deeply with SMEs into process, technical issues, and other details to gain an understanding required to thoughtfully recommend how to navigate issues as they arise.

The pay range for this role is $107,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
