We’re looking for an exemplary product marketing leader to bring LinkedIn’s most innovative consumer products to market by developing strategy, creating clarity, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Join LinkedIn’s fastest growing subscription business: LinkedIn Premium. The Premium GTM Lead is critical to Premium’s ambitious growth trajectory and will be counted on to drive growth and adoption of new features. We’re looking for a talented marketing leader to drive strategy & clear execution of full-funnel GTM across marketing and in-product channels that will win hearts and earn member engagement. This leader will partner with many teams (R&D, Channels, Brand, Comms, Events, Business Development) to build plans to drive subscriber retention and feature adoption for the must-have professional subscription service. 

This role requires someone who acts as a thought leader, can influence cross-functional partners, develops creative & innovative solutions, crafts compelling narratives, defines success criteria and measures against performance metrics, has a track record of driving impact, and truly lives for big challenges. This leader will work with emergent channels and develop new GTM methods, stay relevant to current landscape trends with products and customers, create alignment and action across many teams, move roadblocks and simplify complex concepts, and command confidence with partners, This marketer will help us launch a portfolio of products for this planet’s professionals, and help build the next chapter of subscription marketing for LinkedIn. 

This role requires a passion for LinkedIn Premium and our customers, strategic thinking, and strong communication and collaboration skills since you’ll brief a wide set of cross-functional teams in the development and launch of the product and marketing plans. You’ll also be on point for creating the product stories and amplification across GTM that increase awareness and use of Linkedin Premium. 

Responsibilities

  • Creates holistic GTM strategy for LinkedIn Premium and individual product features / audiences / moments that inform the GTM playbook for execution across In-Product, Marketing, and Press channels.
  • Engages subscriber community through metrics-based alignment of GTM channels (In-Product surfaces/notifications, Email, Web/Microsite, Paid/Social/LOL, Customer surveys, Events, Press, Beta experience, etc), and use their feedback to inform product development and future marketing campaigns. Goal’d to acquire, engage, nurture, retain, and empower our Premium subscriber base.
  • Ideates, creates, delivers, and scales storytelling of LinkedIn Premium: bring product value to life through development of story arc, tension, and release while keeping in mind a problem-solution orientation.
  • Partners closely with the Product Marketing, PR team, R&D, BizDev, Customer Service teams and Integrated Marketing teams to support content development across narratives, demos, digital assets, and campaigns for LinkedIn Premium in everyday motions and for product launch moments.
  • Partners with Market Research, Brand teams, and R&D to influence/drive product improvements and represent key customer and internal priorities in the product development process. Derive insights on customer habits and preferences from telemetry, market research and competitive analysis to evolve GTM strategy.
  • Stays updated on product vision and roadmaps. Be the product expert on existing and new features to internal and external ‘customers’, regularly presenting to audiences both large and small.
  • Acts as lead Premium POC to spearhead campaign planning with Brand / Paid / Social / Press channels. Aggregates input and maintains thought leadership from Premium’s PMM teams (Inbound Marketing & Demand Gen ‘Growth Marketing’) to influence GTM strategy iteration.
  • Maintains strong communication/collaboration with a wide set of cross-functional teams.
  • Embody LinkedIn’s leadership principles to create clarity, generate energy and deliver success.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in product management or product marketing roles at a technology company  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Growth mindset, curious, self-aware, and passionate about continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to and command of detail, and project management skills to focus on key outcomes amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Proven experience leading fast paced teams amongst constantly evolving priorities; self-starter who can manage through ambiguous situations in a start-up type of team
  • Highly motivated and creative team player who thrives in building collaborative partnerships with Engineering, Product, PR, and Integrated Marketing teams  
  • Deep experience writing messaging and creating engaging content that romances product scenarios; passion for technology and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, clear prose
  • Deep experience in modern marketing thru customer-centered CRM and integrated marketing, campaign design, and execution across product experience, marketing owned and paid channels, and press activations 
  • Curiosity, self-awareness, and a desire to test and learn, sing data as a success metric
  • Outstanding leadership and deep and unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion; track record of partnering with a diverse set of team members along with the ability to mentor, develop, and grow the people on the team, helping them accomplish their career goals

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $138,000 to $215,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
