Job Description

This role will be based in Dublin.

LinkedIn’s Sales Solutions team is dedicated to changing the world of sales. We are supporting customers in developing a Deep Sales approach focusing their sales efforts where they will have the best impact.  We do this through the use of LinkedIn Sales Insights, which helps establish a customer's addressable market and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, which helps connect, engage and build mutually beneficial relationships between buyers and sellers at the right time. You will sell the tool (Sales Navigator) you use to be a successful seller on a daily basis to customers who need this tool to sell to their own customers and grow their business.  

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for the full new business acquisition sales cycle for the Benelux region: from generating interest of your target accounts in your book of business to doing extensive discovery calls, negotiation and closing the deal. You have a hunter’s mentality and are motivated by closing new business deals. You will use your strategic selling skills to educate prospective customers on the benefits and value of our two core solutions: Sales Navigator and Sales Insights. You will serve as a trusted adviser, share insights and continually seek opportunities for growth to make your customers as strong and successful as possible.  

Responsibilities:  

  • You will own a book-of-business; therefore, you will need to create, develop and execute strategic plans for your territory and deliver reliable forecasts  
  • Drive revenue by generating interest of prospective customers in your book of target accounts. You are responsible for prospecting and building opportunities that will make all parties more successful. 
  • Consistently meet and exceed the business and revenue objectives set forth in your plan  
  • Inspire yourself, our company and your customers to embrace a new method of connecting value to customers  
  • Leverage your skills and your customers’ experience to continually evolve our solution offerings and the sales process  
  • Adapt but also work to develop, apply and circulate a set of best practices that will be the foundation of this growing team  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:    

  • Fluency in English 
  • 2+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role   

  Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Fluency in Dutch/Flemish and/or French 
  • Proven ability to work to a quota and achieve results   
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business sales; run full sales cycles 
  • Strong executive presence with the ability of being comfortable talking to any C-level executive 
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers   
  • Ability to predictably forecast and execute on business goals   
  • Ability to use insights and data-driven decisions in the sales process   
  • Ability to effectively build trust-based relationships with senior-level sales professionals   
  • Ability to bring together multiple buyers in the same company to build groundswell while  
  • leveraging partners within LinkedIn to effectively evangelize the solution.   
  • Track record selling SaaS solutions, CRM platforms or software platform solutions
