We are looking for an Account Executive to join the growth engine of the talent solutions business. As a Talent Solutions Account Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers through a mix of inbound and outbound strategies. Your target customers will be small and medium businesses that have not yet adopted our talent solutions. This means you will have a unique opportunity to influence their talent strategy and make a lasting impact on their business. 

The Talent Solutions Account Executive role is a fast-paced one that will allow you to quickly develop consultative sales skills. Each day, you will speak to prospective customers across a range of functions and verticals. We are looking for a candidate with a growth mindset who is excited by the challenge of a high-volume sales role. The role offers excellent training, regular coaching from sales leaders, and the opportunity to further your career within the organization. 

 
Responsibilities:  
  

  • Close new business consistently at or above quota level 

  • Maximize business opportunities by uncovering customer challenges and aligning them to LinkedIn’s full range of hiring and learning solutions 

  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan for your book of business/territory  

  • Develop compelling prospecting messaging to engage an array of potential buyers 

  • Prospect daily to strategically build pipeline and strong personal relationships with prospects 

  • Run a number of short-term pilots to prove value of our solutions, while managing customers  

  • Commit to improving performance by being open to coaching and continuous feedback 

  • Act with integrity and with the interest of LinkedIn and its members in mind 

  • Minimal travel may be required to team events and/or customer meetings where appropriate  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 2 + years of applicable sales experience  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience in solution-based selling  

  • Eager to work in fast paced sales environment 

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize according to business opportunity  

  • Excellent pipeline management skills 

  • Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and educate prospects

The pay range for this role is [$97000 to $140000]. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
