Job Description

This role will be based in Sunnyvale, San Francisco, New York or Chicago

LinkedIn's Business Operations team is looking for a Manager to help scale our Talent Solutions business. This person will partner with Product and cross-functional leaders to set strategy for our hiring marketplace products and drive day-to-day operations. This is a great role for someone who is interested in transforming the hiring process through products that are democratizing access to information like skills, company values and salary. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable and skilled at crafting a thoughtful plan, aligning stakeholders and rolling up their sleeves to get stuff done.  

  Responsibilities 

  • Drive strategic projects (e.g., product strategy) that provide key business insights  
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities  
  • Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional team (including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations and other internal groups, etc.), working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal  
  • Identify, diagnose and resolve business performance issues 
  • Manage financial/operational dashboards to monitor business line performance and analyze business drivers 
  • Lead and coach a team of high-performing associates 
  • Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership/executives) 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 6+ years of professional experience in Strategy Consulting or a Strategy/Bizops role at a tech company
  • 1+ years people management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in a Strategy/ Bizops role at a marketplace tech company  
  • MBA degree 
  • Technically proficient in (or interested in learning) SQL 
  • Excited about LinkedIn’s mission of providing better economic outcomes to every member of the global workforce

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
