Job Description

This position will be based in either Sunnyvale, Mountain View or San Francisco, CA.

From day one, LinkedIn APMs are treated like experienced PMs and given ownership and responsibility of impactful projects, while receiving mentorship and guidance from some of the best product leaders and entrepreneurs in the industry.      

Because of the unparalleled level of responsibility granted to APMs at LinkedIn, we seek candidates with a track record of entrepreneurship or leadership experience, in addition to technical and product expertise.  

Responsibilities:    

  • Understand and lead the analysis of the competitive environment, customers, and product metrics to determine the right feature set to drive engagement and usage on LinkedIn    
  • Drive global product requirements definition, product planning and product design (including writing PRDs) of new product features and enhancements    
  • Develop a comprehensive product roadmap to deliver on the business goals for LinkedIn    
  • Work with the product development team and other cross-functional team members to bring features live to the site    
  • Clearly communicate product benefits to our users and internal stakeholders    

Qualifications

  • B.A./B.S. degree or higher in a technical or product-related discipline, and graduating by August 2023 or earlier    
  • One of the two qualifications below:   
    • Proven experience in entrepreneurship by founding a club, starting a company, or creating an app. 
    • Completed a product management internship, software engineering internship or fellowship with a venture capital/entrepreneurial organization. 

Preferred Qualifications:    

  • Leader of a club/group on campus.  
  • Earned a scholarship.  
  • Product management experience. 
  • Internship experience at a software-based company.

The pay range for this role is $124,000 to $155,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
