Job Description
This role will be based in Sunnyvale, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Detroit, Omaha, Washington DC, or Carpinteria.

We are looking for a Sr. HR Business Partner to support our Engineering org. The successful candidate will be able to influence effectively across all levels, demonstrate deep business acumen and show strong capability of navigating through ambiguity, recognizing when it’s appropriate to introduce more structure and process without derailing the current output.
This role will partner with business leaders in Engineering, HR team, and employees throughout the org to drive talent initiatives forward, while always ensuring that they align to our business objectives. This role will continue to evolve and change as the company grows and as the HR org changes along with it to meet the business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Set and align the global talent strategy with the business priorities to drive to results
- Define and drive the delivery of talent processes & programs globally
- Actively participate in the functional leadership teams as a partner to the business
- Understand the business and its challenges to help address the organization and talent needs
- Develop and cultivate deep relationships with other HRBPs and the Centers of Excellence
- Assist with the change process as the company meets the challenges of the need to scale
- Partner with the Centers of Excellence to solve business problems and execute on corporate-wide talent initiatives
- Deliver short-term solutions while also solving for long-term problems by addressing immediate challenges and underlying causes
- Improve manager capabilities through coaching and implementation of management development programs and opportunities
- Use data to measure success: learn, iterate, and improve; analyze trends and develop pro-active actions to further support the business objectives
- Communicate to a diverse population and understand when to flex based on the audience
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of HR experience
- Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially organization development, change management, and employee relations
Preferred Qualifications:
- High integrity and will stop at nothing to safeguard compliance standards and company values
- Ability to work at all levels of the HR “stack” - strategic, operational, and tactical
- Having had a COE background, i.e. Analytics, Compensation, HRIT, HR Ops
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated credibility and integrity in communications to ensure information flows upward and downward
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment and work independently
- Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues
- Ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritize projects concurrently
- Lead management in organizational assessment and diagnosis to turn business strategies into action.
- Provide and demonstrate change management leadership
- Coach and influence to achieve business results
- Use knowledge of the business strategy or the ability to probe for required understanding of business strategy/context in order to properly align solutions or problem solving approach
- Make decisions that effectively incorporates global context and supports necessary collaboration across org/geo boundaries
- Use system thinking i.e. sees the interdependencies and puts the pieces together
As required by C.R.S. § 8-5-201(2): (Colorado only) The minimum pay for this role is $128,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
