Job Description

This role will be based in either NY, SF, Sunnyvale, Carpinteria, Chicago, Seattle, or remote depending on which location the applicant chosen for the role is currently residing as long as they are in the U.S.

LinkedIn is looking for a Creator Programs Manager to build and grow LinkedIn’s creator programs for Black and Latino creators, developing and scaling best-in-class programs. This person is ideally a fast learner - someone who can proactively find and solve problems before they arise, operate effectively in ambiguity, build team processes that unlock maximum creativity, and thrives in working cross-functionally. This person will report to our Global Creator Programs Lead, and also partner very closely with local creator manager leads internationally.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, build and scale core Community Management programs, like our Creator Accelerator Program, with a focus on Black and Latino creators   

  • Set the strategy for how and when we scale creator programs and initiatives  

  • Manage the day-to-day of global programs creators will benefit from including cross-functional project management 

  • Ensure Community Management keeps equity at the core of all of its programs

  • Develop resources for creators (includes writing and external communications) 

  • Partner with local teams to activate Black and Latino creators around major LinkedIn and cultural moments 

  • Work with creator manager leads on creator marketing strategies including external positioning, milestone moments, and creator presence at industry events 

  • Empower creator managers to work inclusively through best practices and programs. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience  working with Black/Latino creators

  • Experience building and leading programs 

  • Knowledge of the Creator and/or passion economy industry trends 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • BS/BA degree OR equivalent experience 

  • Experience working with creative agencies 

  • Background in or passion for diversity, equity and inclusion 

  • Experience with and understanding of the creator economy landscape for Black and Latino creators

  • Strong program management experience 

  • Proven track record of success engaging with Black/Latino creators 

  • Strong community-building skills 

  • Strong communicator in multiple forms, especially in writing and presenting before groups of all sizes 

  • Ability to think analytically, understand metrics and adjust strategy accordingly 

  • Comfortable navigating different topics and norms of any geo/sector/topic 

  • Experience working with product teams 

  • Experience in strategic planning and go-to-market execution 

  • Experience in writing 

  • Project management experience 

  • Passion for executing on strategy and helping iterate to improve it 

  • Strong communicator, able to talk/share internally and externally about what LinkedIn is building/experiencing 

  • Can balance short-term wins against steady progress on the long-term vision 

  • Ideal candidate is a LinkedIn power user who is passionate about how we can help individuals and organizations to learn

As required by C.R.S. § 8-5-201(2): (Colorado only) The minimum pay for this role is 82k base salary. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
