Job Description
Location: This role will be based in any of our U.S. office locations (including San Francisco/Bay Area, Chicago, Omaha, New York, Washington DC, or Detroit). The office location will be in alignment with the U.S. office closest to the location that the approved-for-hire candidate resides.
Responsibilities:
- Independently draft, review and negotiate sales-related agreements for LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions team. Representative agreements include insertion orders, media agreements, strategic partnership agreements, order forms, subscription agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Lead negotiation calls with customers.
- Collaborate with LinkedIn’s Deal Desk, Sales, Finance, Product, and other cross-functional teams on internal approvals and escalations to ensure sales transactions are consistent with internal corporate policies and processes.
- Act as a business partner to the LinkedIn Sales teams throughout the customer lifecycle to ensure timely management and closure of sales opportunities.
- Drive internal projects that create leverage and scalable processes to optimize contract negotiation and management services that drive business results.
- Provide support to senior attorneys as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- 3+ years' experience practicing as an attorney, including 2+ years of experience in online/digital advertising transactions (Ad-Tech)
- Experience with negotiating the IAB standard terms and conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to build strong relationships with Sales and other cross-functional teams
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate agreements independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to manage various deals and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with podcast production and advertising
- Exercises sound business judgment and escalates material issues to senior attorneys as needed
- Sense of humor and positive “can-do” attitude
