Job Description

Business Leadership Program (NAMER)

You have big plans for yourself. We want to help you realize them.

Our journey began when we asked ourselves: What would happen if we connected ambitious, driven, early career talent with world-class training, exposure to company leadership, and meaningful work opportunities? The answer: magic.

In July 2013, we launched the Business Leadership Program focused on providing the brightest talent with the best business foundation to launch their careers. To date, nearly 500 associates have launched their careers in BLP and continue to add tremendous value to LinkedIn’s mission of creating economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce.

BLP operates in two locations: San Francisco and Chicago. Placement is determined on candidate interest and business need. Associates will be based in one of those offices for roughly 18 months—throughout the entirety of the program.

During the program, you will embark on one of our four career paths to help prepare for a range of careers in the Global Business Organization. You will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about how different roles align with your skills and career goals before placement at the end of the program.

Why start your career in BLP?

  • Enhance communication. You’ll learn how to adjust your communication style for different audiences by rotating across different teams and business functions.
  • Build skills. Business acumen, influencing others, leadership, resilience, and an understanding of how to prioritize and work efficiently are versatile skills you will carry throughout your professional journey.
  • Be the fuel. You are responsible for fueling the mission and vision of LinkedIn. Our teams collaborate and create leverage--it’s our culture; it’s who we are.
  • Become a thought leader. Combine your authentic voice with LinkedIn’s global resources to build your brand and influence other professionals as they strive to become more productive and successful.

Responsibilities:

BLP is a rotational program designed to identify, inspire and develop future professionals. Within the 18 months, you will:

  • Work on different teams across the business to accomplish real business challenges and drive value for LinkedIn’s customers while learning key foundational skills needed for your careers.
  • Develop project management skills and analytical acumen to prepare for success in a wide variety of roles in the Global Business Organization after the program.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with your BLP cohort, program Alumni, and many teams across the enterprise.
