We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our Bangalore team in identifying, screening and hiring qualified candidates. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating a pipeline of best-in-class talent for LinkedIn through innovative outreach methods. You will work to reduce the time it takes to fill each position while continually striving to improve the satisfaction of your hiring managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and provide recruitment support to the engineering organization
  • Own the recruiting cycle from end to end, spanning all areas and disciplines. Partnering with a Technical Sourcer to build robust recruiting strategies for every search
  • Coach, mentor, and train team members to find the best employees for our company
  • Drive technology, process, and teamwork efforts to enhance the recruitment process
  • In partnership with the sourcer, proactively recruit passive talent
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to enable effective decision making through the hiring process
  • Leverage external market data to improve the sourcing strategy and optimize for time to fill 
  • Conduct recruiting strategy kickoff meetings with a high degree of influence
  • Own conducting pre-brief and debrief meetings with client groups and play a key role in decision making by demonstrating abilities to make appropriate tradeoffs
  • Partner with the business to drive various initiatives/events in alignment with the talent priorities
  • Act as an advisor to hiring managers to provide guidance, expertise, collaboration, and teamwork to hire the best talent
  • Utilize the world’s best recruiting/passive sourcing tools to get the job done better, faster, and more efficiently than ever before
  • Deliver against set metrics to provide consistent results and data-backed progress
  • Elevate the candidate experience by adopting our “members first” company value
  • Ensure data integrity within LinkedIn's Applicant Tracking System and LinkedIn Recruiter 

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting engineering talent
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems 
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn as a recruiting tool to attract passive talent
  • Experience as a master storyteller to attract and hire top talent
  • Experience being a strategic advisor on talent-related matters
  • Strong understanding of talent and competency models, recruiting fundamentals, competitive market awareness, and online/social media
  • Knowledge of the web/Internet market space, including trade journals, academic institutions, alumni associations, and other sources of great candidates
  • Excellent communication, time management, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
