LinkedIn’s Sales Solutions team is dedicated to changing the world of sales through the use of Sales Navigator, our flagship product that connects and builds mutually beneficial relationships between buyers and sellers.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will use your social selling skills to challenge, educate, & teach existing key customers across specific verticals in India on the benefits and value of Sales Navigator. You will serve as a trusted adviser, share insights and continually seeking opportunities for growth to make your customers as strong and successful as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit business acumen and strategic thinking on an executive level (i.e. ability to go deep into an account)
  • Plan your territory with a view of expected revenue growth throughout financial year while exhibiting strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Becomes the Industry thought leader in the specified vertical and be the go to domain expert.
  • Build account plans for your accounts understanding their strategic and tactical goals, key decision makers, organizational charts, current investment, product utilization and new revenue opportunity
  • Build long-lasting strong relationships with c-level and senior level executives from large global companies, based on value and win/win approach
  • Ability to position LinkedIn as a business partner supporting your clients’ strategy using teach and learn approach
  • Exhibit high level of executive presence skillset to influence and negotiate complex deals
  • Operate with a strong foundation of integrity, collaborative and inclusive culture, being open, honest and constructive
  • Lead a cross-functional team of subject matter experts and other sales professionals to support your accounts
  • Build and deliver product ROI analysis to your key clients with support from cross-functional teams
  • Run QBRs with key clients to effectively match our solution to their business objectives
  • Grow the revenue from the named accounts through up sell on renewals and by identifying and closing new multimillion-dollar business/product contracts
  • Operational fitness through activity and forecasting tracking in Salesforce
  • Play a leadership position in the business to assist in keeping LinkedIn Sales Solutions competitive in the market

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a quota-carrying role, 4+ years of experience in key account management/large enterprise strategic sales
  • Experience with selling into c-suite and executive clients
  • Experience of having managed large, complex accounts and build on those relationships to drive LinkedIn revenue
  • Strategic account management & growth experience with roughly 10-20 accounts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consultative, value based, teach and learn selling methods are strongly preferred
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders through influence, creating value and alignment
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota and sales targets in a high-growth/fast paced environment
  • Proven experience in being able to navigate through large matrix organizations
  • Superior strategic, analytical and negotiating skills
  • Ability to present complex topics in a way that is simple and easy to understand
  • Experience seeking out new business, as well as managing existing accounts long-term
  • Experience in selling technology key to digital transformation
  • Entrepreneurial type mindset, hungry for success and in taking ownership over your accounts
