Job Description

The HR Generalist will work within LinkedIn to provide HR support to the organization. Working closely with other members of our Global Talent Organization and stakeholders located in APAC region, you will demonstrate a broad scope of knowledge and contribute proactively to the planning and day to day HR activities of the Company, provide HR counsel and support.

Responsible for performing a variety of human resources functions including business facing talent initiatives, rhythm of business activities and compliance. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure legal compliance by applying dedicated tools, policies and procedures.
  • Provide a full range of generalist services to the APAC HRBP organization
  • Analyze and interpret business process issues and make recommendations to partners and other teams in relation to systems, programs and process.
  • Provide support to HRBP team during annual processes such as performance reviews, compensation and rewards, and talent planning
  • Complete ad-hoc projects, reporting and tasks as required with cross-functional HR / Partner teams, working on or leading projects/programs.
  • Contributions back to the Global HRBP community through leverage and scale.
  • Analyse data, understand trends, and develop proactive solutions to further support business objectives.
  • Work closely with HR operations team members to implement specific HR processes and transactions to support employee and manager-generated requests.

On top of that, you will be given central HR Business Partner responsibilities as well which includes: 

  • Execute and support country wide talent engagement & initiatives.
  • Support effective talent management across Linkedin and contribute to the development of exceptional people managers by providing coaching and HR consultation
  • Support and provide coaching to people managers in performance management cases from constructive feedbacks, improvement goals to personal improvement plans. Translate employment legislation and procedures into practical advice
  • Assist managers and employees in understanding and applying people tools, policies and procedures in order to maximize employee performance, achieve organizational effectiveness, improve employee engagement, and ensure legal compliance.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects, reporting and tasks as required with cross-functional HR / Partner teams, working on or leading projects/programs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of HR experience as HR Generalist/HR Operations/HR Partner
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Confidence & pragmatic in handling ambiguity and fluid situations
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Detail and goal-oriented, has the flexibility to deal with multiple and changing priorities while focused on customer service and quality
  • Ability to manage own time and workload, juggling conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and organizational ability
  • Ability to work with and understand data from multiple sources
  • Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with HR management system such as Workday
