Job Description

Within our Marketing Solutions business we are looking for an Account Director to join our team to help us realise our goal of empowering businesses to reach, engage and convert their professional audience at scale. 

You will be responsible for developing and delivering sales strategies, driven by data and the strength of your experience, to bring LinkedIn’s digital marketing solutions to the world’s most sophisticated marketers. By being their trusted advisor, you will help our top tier clients realise their growth plans by connecting them to ever-expanding opportunities among our members. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a bi-annual business plan for your book of business in order to achieve and exceed your sales quota. 

  • Working closely with your Client Solutions Manager, build and manage relationships with existing advertising customers for LinkedIn, working closely with key decision makers, top executives, up to and including C-levels.  

  • Deliver a consultative sales approach for priority clients that answers their marketing objectives, while also understanding the ability of a tiered service approach to deliver growth. 

  • Use a data-driven led approach to client growth, creating and tailoring narratives and strategies specific to the industry and country in which you work on 

  • Attend relevant product, sales and business trainings, remain abreast of all upcoming product solutions and explore our various suite of products across LinkedIn in order to deliver a cohesive sales approach to your clients

  • Travel may be required up to 10% when flight restrictions ease

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of client relationship management or sales experience. 

  • Business fluency in English 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience of working with high growth clients. 

  • Experience of using insights to drive commercial success. 

  • Experience of working in a target-driven environment.

  • Ability to carry and hit quota incorporating complex sales cycles in a competitive advertising marketplace. 

  • Ability to drive results and collaborate with major customers, creating relationships across many levels of a client. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
