Job Description
As an Insights Program Manager owning our enablement and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Sales Solutions Insights, you will seek to unlock the full potential of our scaled insights through education, measurement, and operational excellence. You will design, plan, and help execute how our team launches, communicates, and assesses the impact of our global Insights tools and programs. You’ll strive to employ the most effective combination of on-demand training and customized education programs. You’ll embrace continuous learning and diverse feedback to ensure that our team’s tools and programs are constantly evolving and improving to meet the needs of our customers.
This is a proactive project and program management role. You will collaborate with internal partners across Insights, Sales, Sales Readiness and Product Marketing to identify and prioritize enablement opportunities and advocate for their inclusion on our roadmap. You will develop and communicate our enablement and go-to-market strategy effectively and often across diverse audiences. You will advocate for our needs and secure the buy-in of our executives. You will lead by example and set a high bar for your teammates on what best in class looks like in this space.
To be successful in this role you will be a great project manager, with the ability to build clear and effective processes, communicate in a compelling way and drive alignment across different teams and functions. You are highly analytical and can query databases in SQL or have comparable technical skills. You must be organized and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work with partners to understand core customer business challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Insights, Sales, Sales Readiness, Product Marketing, and other teams to design, plan and execute our enablement strategy
- Create and execute plan to drive a consistent go-to-market approach to launching new insights and narratives
- Build, implement and operationalize our communications strategy to ensure awareness of new content and product features
- Partner with Sales and Sales Readiness to align content assets with our global sales priorities and strategy
- Align the Insights team around a consistent set of practices to maintain relevant enablement resources that evolve with the needs of the sales organization
- Become a customer-centric program manager, placing customer value at the center of all projects, analyses, and initiatives
- Identify and establish KPIs to evaluate the business impact of our enablement efforts and evolve our strategy accordingly
- Identify scaled solutions for the most important customer challenges by leveraging LinkedIn’s unique data
- Leverage SQL to extract necessary data
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of sales enablement, sales operations, instructional design, and/or project management experience working cross-functionally
- Experience with data analysis, data storytelling, turning data into insights and presenting to senior audiences.
- Experience analyzing data in SQL, Excel, SAS or other similar software
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience building visualizations with data, especially in Tableau and PowerPoint
- BA/BS degree
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in marketing, statistics, economics or related quantitative field preferred
Strong business acumen and creative problem-solving skills
Strong intellectual curiosity; desire and ability to learn
Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs
Experience leading cross-functional partnerships involving analytics
Experience with big data technologies (like Hadoop)
Experience with data visualization and telling stories with data (Tableau, other data viz tools)
Modeling skills not required, but valued (R, Python)
You understand the value LinkedIn creates for members and companies AND get really excited thinking about the potential of its data to help solve business problems.
You have a demonstrated strength using data as a core part of your job, ideally driving action.
You feel passionate that data can transform how a company does business
You can build a strong rapport with entry-level salesperson or engineer one moment and give a clear 30-second elevator pitch to a CEO the next.
You like to dream big, work collaboratively to get stuff done, and know how to have fun along the way.
You enjoy a fast-paced learning environment and are impatient to “do.”
