Director of EMEA and Latam Sales Strategy & Operations, Talent Solutions  

The Director of EMEAL Sales Strategy & Operations is a key business advisor who will function as a “chief of operations” to our EMEA and Latam Talent business, including Hiring, Learning and Engagement products.  

The role is focused on enabling our world-class field sales team to be as productive as possible. They will be responsible for leading a large team in designing and setting sales policy, sales incentives and planning new market/territory development.   

They will be responsible for helping executives and sales management make data-driven decisions by providing insights from LinkedIn’s customer and sales data and creating timely reports and analyses such as average selling price, order volume growth, and product whitespace analysis. They will be a key member of a global leadership team and support global efforts and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. We're seeking a leader who can recognize opportunities to drive business growth or improve processes and who can lead a team to bring these ideas to life.  

 Responsibilities:  

·        Build, develop and lead a top-caliber operations and strategy team  

·        Lead sales operations function for the EMEA and Latam region of LinkedIn’s Talent business – including, but not limited, to:

-       Providing visibility into performance of overall business and accounts at leadership & team level through automated reporting 

-       Assessing impact of the team’s efforts on driving business results 

-       Driving system improvements & streamlining sales processes

-       Designing, building and optimizing sales territories 

-       Setting annual goals & quotas for sales teams

·        Serve as key business advisor to our EMEA and Latam sales leaders 

·        Drive management decision-making & program development by deriving analytics and insights from our CRM and other systems 

·        Deliver strategic and operations projects globally as required to evolve and transform LinkedIn’s sales model  

·        Coordinate with cross-functional teams to lead mission critical projects, role alignment & program integrations  

 Basic Qualifications:  

·        BA or BS degree 

·        8+ years in operations, sales, management consulting, finance or investment banking experience

·        5+ years in people management experience  

 Preferred Qualifications:  

·        MBA or advanced degree preferred (or can be compensated with additional work experience) 

·        Experience working in B2B SAAS businesses or with other sales organizations 

·        Strong project management skills and ability to mobilize cross functional teams towards a common goal  

·        Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication experience with senior management  

·        Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments  

·        Experience managing large teams and/or managing managers 

·        Deep interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making  

·        Able to move seamlessly from big picture thinking to operational tactics  

·        Experience using and developing reports, metrics and dashboards with salesforce.com, Tableau or other relevant sales metric tools and programs 

·        Deep interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making 

Qualifications
