Job Description
LinkedIn’s Sales Solutions team is dedicated to changing the world of sales through the use of Sales Navigator, our flagship product that connects and builds mutually beneficial relationships between buyers and sellers. As a Sr. Sales Manager, you will lead the expansion of our client base and use your strategic selling skills to lead and inspire a team focused on educating prospective customers on the benefits and value of Sales Navigator. You will serve as a leader across our European Relationship Management teams to share insights and continually seek opportunities for growth to make customers as strong and successful as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Build, lead and inspire a team of managers and individual contributors covering SMB and mid market and Enterprise.
- Drive a compelling vision to inspire performance
- Be an Industry expert in the modern way of selling
- Demonstrate executive presence to help lead executive engagements, in the field, with our customers
- Be a strong advocate for Sales Navigator as well as LinkedIn’s vision, mission, culture and values
Leadership
- Be an advocate and leader to inspire and transform yourself, our teams, our company and our customers
- Serve as executive sponsor in strategic customer meetings and a thought partner to your reps
- Demonstrate executive presence through confidence and active listening.
- Manage Director+ stakeholders to support and sponsor change.
- Deeply understand the full LinkedIn Narrative - both free and paid - including our value to both members and companies - to evangelize in the market with your team.
- Build strong relationships proactively with Sr. executives across LinkedIn and within your team’s top accounts.
Leverage
- Mentor other reps and leaders across the business.
- Build a sustainable and scalable plan to drive key performance metrics.
- Ensure prioritization and execution of business strategies
- Provide key thought-leadership on key projects and business initiatives as we grow and scale the business.
Results
- Track and achieve key team performance metrics.
- Drive predictable results and accurate forecasts on a quarterly, semiannual and annual basis.
- Create a data-driven and results-driven team atmosphere.
- Help LinkedIn win as a company in our vision and mission by taking on specific, results-oriented projects.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role
- 5+ years of experience in sales management
- BA/BS Degree in a related field
- Fluency in English and French, Italian or Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading a sales team in consistently meeting and exceeding revenue goals
- Experience building high-performance sales teams
- Startup experience in small or large companies
- Proven track record of winning in renewal and growth environments
- Excellent communication, client and time management, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to evaluate sound business opportunities, resolve conflicts, close deals and meet/exceed revenue goals
