We’re starting a community management team to support and grow our content creators, with the mission to source, nurture, uplevel and retain these important voices. Creators' sets off incredible ripples, helping others find their community and develop their own voice. The more people who give and get help, the faster we all grow.

LinkedIn is looking for a Head of Community to lead this global community management team and will report into our Editor-in-Chief, Dan Roth. This leader should be passionate about the idea of working with creators at scale and helping them achieve success on LinkedIn. The Head of Community will build and run a global team, design and set goals for this program and ensure the team collaborates with cross-functional partners to gain further leverage. This leader should have strong community-building/management and strategy-creation skills, as well as a desire to work in a fast-moving space where experimentation is key.

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the foundational community management program, establishing touchpoints and processes for vetting, troubleshooting and ongoing content creator management.
Understand the success of each community using a data-driven approach, tracking against goals.
Recruit, assess, retain and manage a team of top community managers.
Nurture long-term relationships and help them succeed.
Work with Community Managers to continually improve the quality of published content and content builder network reach/growth.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align cohesive strategies across units and ensure the Community Management team has the tools needed for success.
Act as an evangelist for our Content Experience team.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
7 + years of experience
People management and team building experience

Preferred Qualifications:
BS/BA degree OR equivalent experience
Strong community-building skills
Ability to think analytically, understand metrics and adjust strategy accordingly
Comfortable navigating different topics and norms of any geo/sector/topic
Passion for creating and executing on strategy
Strong communicator, able to talk/share internally and externally about what LinkedIn is building/experiencing
Persuasive communicator in multiple forms, especially in writing and presenting before groups of all sizes
Can balance short-term wins against steady progress on the long-term vision
An efficient manager of self, others, ideas, and projects
An insatiable desire (and the ability) to learn more
