Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas, NV based IT consulting firm, is seeking a UX/UI Designer for a 2 month contract with a well-established client in Castle Rock, CO.
Position Description:
This position will work with a team of developers and business partners to support increasing user-focus within the organization as a whole by creating personas, UI flows, wireframes, prototypes, and by implementing user testing and interviews when possible. The focus of this project is to build a new end-user experience via a portal. The portal will be delivered on a Drupal platform. The goal is to deliver a world class easy to consume user-experience for 100,000+ people.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Design wireframes, prototypes, and mockups
Review existing applications to suggest improvements to enhance user experience to
include theme/colors
Develop solutions to inject modern UX features into existing applications
Develop common user experiences/designs that can be modeled across organization
Create prototypes of user experience, HTML/CSS/Javascript or Balsamiq preferred
Collaborate and work within an Agile/Scrumbased development team
Participate in stakeholder requirements and demo sessions, as appropriate
Requirements:
2+ years of UX or interaction design experience in enterprise web applications or
customer-facing web applications
Portfolio that shows a robust UX design process and past successful projects
Ability to prototype at a fast pace (and high level) using either HTML/CSS/Javascript, Balsamiq or other collaborative software
Experience with Drupal 7 is preferred
Working Conditions:
Indoors in an office environment

This project is anticipated to be a 20-40 hour engagement on a weekly basis for the initial phase lasting 2 months. Beyond this, there may be additional work on an as needed basis to help with other web design projects.
Remote work is possible with an expectation the resource is available to come onsite as needed. The onsite work may be higher in the initial weeks (>50%) and taper down after a while (<20%)
This role is on-site; remote work is not an option unless otherwise specified.
