Link Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Mechanic II (OSP) to join our team at Fort Stewart, GA.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Requires a DoD Secret Clearance
- Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
The Telecommunications Mechanic II (OSP) will oversee and optimize the performance and functionality of the telecommunications systems in support of the Southeast Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) at Fort Stewart, GA. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Work with government customers to identify needs or opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure assigned tickets are addressed with government clients.
- Maintenance of telephone poles, manholes, handholds, and outside terminals.
- Install, de-install, maintain, repair, and test multiple-conductor aerial, underground, and buried communications cable to include coaxial, fiber optics, and copper/conventional cable.
- Provide cable audits of manholes, hand-holes, pedestals, communications closets, MDF, and IDF.

Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (will sponsor the right candidate).
- Five (5+) years experience in telecommunications infrastructure, facility design, and installation.
- Knowledge and experience of BICSI rules, regulations, and standards.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and industry standards and practices.
- Experience with MS Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
- Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
