Job Description
Perform a variety of reconciliations for the Non-Regulated Reconciliations Team on a daily basis
Answer queries from our internal customers and relevant departments within the business
Ensure all exceptions are logged in the required systems and raised to the relevant business team with effective communication
Maintain control sheet and issue to business areas for confirmation
Assist with the compilation of daily and monthly MI for onward distribution to key stakeholders
Scanning of completed reconciliations where performed on excel
Ensure reconciliation “best practice” is used when performing all reconciliations
Ensure appropriate escalation is employed when identifying reconciliation anomalies
Assist with the development and integration of new LINK systems such as PRISM and Accurate to ensure reconciliations can be completed to the standard required
Provide support for PRISM Business Assurance Testing, Regression Testing and account / client migration
Show a high level of risk awareness
Complete mandatory online training as set out by Learning & Development and/or Compliance
Provide assistance where required on all ad hoc business requests and projects
Show a willingness to question why a process is performed as is and challenge to ensure best practice is employed
Assist the department hierarchy on all aspects of the business and show a willingness to learn new tasks
Liaise effectively with all parts of the business
Qualifications
Experience of reconciliations preferable
Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) preferred but not essential
Aptitude and willingness to learn
Good level of IT Skills (Inc. Excel & MS office package)
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Highly numerate
Flexible to meet the demands of team working
