With a diverse North American and Asian client base, our client activities cover a wide variety of asset classes including aircraft, engines, ships, helicopters, railcars, oil rigs and many others. Our scale means we can deliver best practice procedures and controls to clients and transactions of all sizes.
We provide a full suite of flexible outsourced administration services to aviation, finance and leasing companies.
In order to sustain our growing business, we are looking for a dedicated and talented Client Accountant
The primary role of the Client Accountant would be to manage a portfolio of clients delivering accounting, tax and compliance services.
The main responsibilities of the position would include the following (but not limited to):
Preparation of periodic management accounts and consolidated management accounts to required accounting standard (GAAP and IFRS) and deadlines;
Preparation of annual financial statements and consolidated financial statements to required accounting standard (GAAP and IFRS) and deadlines;
Liaison with auditors to ensure annual audit completed within client and/or statutory deadlines;
Liaison with the tax advisors to ensure corporation tax filings and payments submitted within statutory deadlines;
Attending and presenting at board meetings;
Working with our Business Development Team on new business opportunities and the development of our services;
Sharing information and providing training, guidance, advice and assistance to other team members as required;
Other general administration duties as required.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
Part qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or other relevant accounting qualification);
1-3 years of relevant professional experience within the financial sector;
Ability to work on own initiative and take full ownership of client portfolio;
Ability to work effectively in fast paced, complex and dynamic work environment;
Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills;
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages with key focus on Excel.
