VP Resolution and Recovery Planning (Living Wills)

Job Description

A Recovery and Resolution Analyst will support the creation of [Investment Bank]'s US Dodd-Frank Resolution and FDIC IDI Plans and support [Bank]'s response to ad hoc regulatory requests. In particular, you will: Support the US Living Wills team and Plan workstream leads and section owners in providing guidance on new Plan requirements, opportunities for improvement and issue identification and resolution. Support the US Living Wills team and workstream leads in facilitating communication and coordination and with Business and Infrastructure subject matter experts and regional management to ensure timely completeness of deliverables. Assist in identifying and managing dependencies. Support the US Living Wills team and Plan section owners in ensuring the accurate completion of select sections of the Plan. Sections include Business write-ups (e.g. Global Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Asset & Wealth Management), legal entity write-ups, and select subject matters. Includes identifying improvements to existing write-ups and new requirements. Draft and/or edit sections of the Plan and ensure write-ups are consistent across the Plan. Assist in creating senior management presentations and other stakeholder communications. Conduct research and support data capture/data management. Document key assumptions and sources of data. Provide analysis and facilitate responses to regulatory requests. Assess potential impacts of Business and Infrastructure initiatives on recovery and resolution plans and recommend mitigating actions. Support Group recovery and resolution requirements. 

Qualifications

Ability to quickly understand Dodd-Frank US Resolution and FDIC IDI Plan requirements and deliverables Experience with financial services regulatory matters (particularly related to corporate and/or investment banking). Experience in executing against milestones and tight timelines, providing regular status updates and effectively managing issue escalations Experience supporting cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely delivery of requirements Proficient in writing reports and accurately summarizing large volumes of information into coherent narrative Strong attention to detail/accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong self starter Work well horizontally (with broad range of subject matter experts) and vertically (with senior management and junior staff) Team player Proficient with Powerpoint, Word and Excel and other data management tools
