Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Clinical Marketing (SMCM) is responsible for overseeing all clinical marketing initiatives within the Clinical Business Unit. The SMCM manages the daily operations, ongoing maintenance, resource allocation, and tactical strategy of the Clinical Marketing (CM) department. The CM is a growing area within Lingraphica and includes a wide range of lead-generating activities, including our clinical programs (Lingraphica Certification Program, Long-Term Loaner Program, Continuing Education Program, and University Outreach Program), conference planning, as well as marketing campaigns to speech-language pathologists and other rehabilitation disciplines. The SMCM is also a highly visible figure within our B2B channel, helping develop and maintain partnerships that further advance Marketing goals and objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Director of the Clinical Business Unit, the Senior Manager, Clinical Marketing is responsible for ensuring all clinical marketing annual goals are met. This role is both strategic and tactical, developing departmental goals, managing several teams (continuing education, clinical outreach, and programs), as well as measuring impact, developing lead-generation and nurturing campaigns, and planning the conference schedule for the Clinical Marketing function.
This position is a critical liaison between teams, both within the Clinical Business Unit and across the organization (i.e., Digital Marketing, Product, Operations), providing input on messaging, product issues, and process improvements. The SMCM is also responsible for developing clinical content that resonates with our audiences, which includes continuing education courses, live webinars/demos, email campaigns, and sales enablement material for the Sales team.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Manages multiple teams within the department, specifically Clinical Programs, Continuing Education, and Outreach. The SMCM is responsible for hiring and managing performance in the department, developing team members, and running team meetings.
Thinks strategically and assesses the effectiveness of department activities in achieving Marketing goals
Applies clinical knowledge and experience to department lead-generation activity
Manages multiple projects at once, while maintaining Lingraphica’s commitment to quality
Works across teams, departments, functions, and leadership to ensure results
Monitors the performance of programs/initiatives and takes corrective action when needed
Provides management, coaching, mentoring, and developing department personnel
Develops functional relationships with executives and other members of the management team
Represents Lingraphica’s interests to third-party organizations and partners
Ensures adherence to the budget for team travel and conference participation
Defines and creates lead-generation and nurturing campaigns, and works across teams to execute
Analyzes existing content, makes enhancements, and maintains support materials
Generates grammatically correct, consistent, clinically accurate copy, using appropriate writing styles for different audiences (from lay to clinical)
Translates clinical concepts and terminology into consumer-friendly editorial
Assists in the development and writing of thought-leadership materials such as white papers and clinical overview documents
Acts as a resource and subject-matter-expert for other teams
Multi-tasks and successfully executes projects under a heavy workload, tight deadlines and changing conditions
May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- BA, MA, or MS in speech-language pathology, nursing, occupational therapy or physical therapy
5 - 7 years of experience as a clinician and 2 - 4 years of experience writing clinical content for a marketing team
Experience managing a team preferred; Experience demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively, influence and lead required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and CRM (HubSpot preferred)
Results oriented, self-directed and self-motivated
Knowledge of content management systems
Familiarity with therapy apps and programs

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
In this role, individual works from home and is expected to maintain a safe, productive work environment with secure internet access. Must be able to operate a computer with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Travel:
Domestic travel in the U.S. is required approximately 4 - 6 times per year for in-person team meetings, the all-company meeting, as well as for trade shows and industry conferences.
