Job Description

Purpose: The Product Trainer will be responsible for delivering external training on Lingraphica’s hardware, software, apps, and accessories. The ideal candidate will develop a deep understanding of Lingraphica’s products/services and the ability to apply adult learning principles for 1:1 and group-based training. The role requires a blend of creativity, edtech skills, and cross-functional collaboration to be successful.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex technical product information into simple and engaging customer education/training 
  • Implement appropriate virtual training methodologies based on audience learning styles and adult learning principles to improve product engagement, product knowledge, and communication with customers 
  • Work with the Sr. Product Trainer to create curriculum for training sessions that focus on feature adoption, clinical implementation of AAC devices, and partner assisted communication.  
  • Hold 1:1 and small group customer training sessions with proficient technical skills 
  • Display creativity in themes, activities, and implementation of AAC to fit the needs of the customer (e.g., pediatrics through geriatrics)  
  • Work cross collaboratively to ensure content is accurate, consistent, on-brand, and aligns with companywide brand standards  
  • Collaborate with the company’s Data Analyst to identify crucial statistics related to feature adaption and use of the device to reduce device abandonment 
  • Collaborate with the CRM Administrator, and marketing team to identify gaps in customer communication to improve customer training rates, product training needs and schedule appropriate training sessions for employees 
  • Work with Sr. Product Trainer to analyze the effectiveness of training content and sessions to develop innovative approaches for improvement 
  • Participant in product management team meetings, offsites, and overall contribute to team-based goals 
  • Utilize feedback methods to collect crucial information as it relates to product design and be able to effectively communicate to design team   
  • Grow customer training program from 1:1/Small group training sessions to blended learning experience incorporating synchronous and asynchronous learning  

 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Exceptional writing, editing, messaging, and live presentation skills 
  • The ability to ensure content is on-brand, and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone 
  • Proficient technical skills (e.g., communication via Slack/Outlook, ability to utilize ZOOM, creation of multimedia content in platforms such as Canva, Adobe, Genially, ability to use/navigate learning management system) 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare, education, or a related field, or a combination of experience and education 
  • 1-3 years' experience preferred in developing and delivering training content for adult learners (e.g., onboarding, supervision, CEUs, customer training)  
  • Hands on experience working with Lingraphica devices and applications, strongly preferred 

Additional Information

Travel Requirements: 

  • Travel to Lingraphica’s home office and to cities within the continental United States for company related meetings and/or conferences may be required 1-2 times per year.  Employees must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated to participate in in-person meetings and events, however an accommodation request for 100% remote work is available. 

Work Environment & Physical Demands: 

  • This role is a remote position, and the employee can work from home anywhere in the United States.  Incumbent is expected to maintain a safe, productive work environment with secure internet access. Must be able to operate a computer with or without a reasonable accommodation.
