Job Description

Purpose:

Reporting to the CEO, the Director, Finance is a member of the Leadership Team at Lingraphica and provides leadership through financial planning and analysis, strategic planning, driving the budgeting process, and by overseeing the accounting function and bookkeeping.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partners with CEO and leadership team members on strategic planning; aligns and develops the strategy for the Finance department 

  • Provides guidance and insight into the business through financial planning and analysis, including financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and ad hoc reporting & analysis

  • Participates in strategic planning with other department leaders and CEO, and set the strategy for the Finance function

  • Oversees third party administration of Accounts Payable, the monthly expense review, and financial reporting for quarterly Board and monthly All-Staff Meetings 

  • Manages third party accounting firm who completes company tax filings and accounting 

  • Ensures completion of annual R&D tax credit for research and development expenses incurred across the company 

  • Owns Lingraphica’s banking relationship ensuring adequate line of credit, account maintenance and special projects as needed, i.e. PPP Loan 

  • Partners with CEO on investor relations, modeling and other tasks related to the Capital Structure

  • Drives and completes the annual budget process, partnering with CEO and Directors 

  • Provides financial analytics and reporting related to the quarterly Board Report, sales revenue, revenue cycle management, expenses and business modeling 

  • Reviews compliance related to payroll, tax filing and annual W-2 reporting, in partnership with PEO 

  • Member of 401(k) Investment Committee and participates in investment & plan reviews as Trustee of the retirement plan 

  • Completes special projects as needed such as exploring phantom stock option program, modeling / scenario planning, etc. 

  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned  

Qualifications

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business 

  • 15 years experience; 5 years or more leading a Finance & Accounting function for a mid-sized company 

  • Experience in healthcare, DME space preferred 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills 

  • Excellent analytical skills 

  • Advanced to expert Excel skills 

  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks a plus

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Works from home and is expected to maintain a safe, productive work environment with secure internet access.  May work anywhere in the U.S.  Office space available in Princeton, NJ home office where work environment is that of a typical office; noise level is low to moderate. 

Must be able to operate a computer with or without a reasonable accommodation. 

Travel: 

Travel to Princeton, NJ for quarterly staff meetings, Annual all-company meeting, etc. is required.
