Lincoln Middle School

The Middle School Co-Teacher (Special Education) collaborates with general education teachers to provide inclusive, high-quality instruction for students with disabilities. This role focuses on ensuring access to grade-level curriculum, implementing individualized supports, and promoting academic and social-emotional growth within the general education setting.

• Collaborate with general education teachers to plan and deliver standards-based instruction using co-teaching models
• Differentiate instruction and provide targeted small-group or individual support to meet diverse student needs
• Implement IEPs, including accommodations, modifications, and progress monitoring
• Support behavior plans and promote positive academic and social-emotional growth
• Communicate and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, PLCs, and professional development
