Plan, prepare, implement, monitor, and evaluate a quality competency-based Business and Technology CTE (Career and Technical Education) Program leading to the development of student skills sufficient to qualify for entry-level employment and/or post-secondary education using effective instruction with all students.

Responsibilities: (include but not limited to)

• Manage and advise Junior Bank Board and incorporate FBLA leadership activities into the business and technology curriculum 
• Work closely with IT specialists to ensure computer lab and software updates are installed and running for students to use.  (GMetrix and Certiport are already in the works through Perkins) Other software and curriculum available include Knowledge Matters, EverFi, H & R Block Budget Challenge, Dave Ramsey, iCEV.  Especially Knowledge Matters and iCEV.
• Maintain program budgets 
• Develop community and industry partnerships for students
• Order supplies, instructional materials, and equipment necessary for the program 
• Provide information and counsel students relative to employment, career opportunities, and further education (working closely with the counselor)
• Participate in district, regional and state CTE meetings
• Maintain accurate records of CTE program concentrators (completers) including follow-up
• Fashion Show 

Classes taught: Survey of Business, Digital Marketing, Financial Planning, Securities and Investments, College and Career, Advanced Excel, as well as other courses.
