Report Writer - Investments, Pensions, SIPPS

My client are an Independent Financial Advice practice (IFA) and specialise in retirement and investment planning for both individuals and businesses.

We are currently seeking a Report Writer to join the current Administrative teams who will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out research and prepare reports & documentation in respect of investments / pensions / drawdown / SIPPs / SIPP investments / pension transfers
  • Processing benefits claims
  • Calculating and process disinvestments as appropriate
  • Calculating and process investment of deposit monies as appropriate
  • Collating & analysing information for pension transfers in compliant manner
  • Liaising with clients/providers in person or via telephone, email, letter, fax
  • Dealing with relevant client / provider correspondence
  • Scanning correspondence / documents onto archiving system
  • Processing new business – Applications, transfer forms
  • Completing application forms in advance of meetings
  • Chasing progress of new business and income payments
  • Managing adviser meeting requirements i.e preparing valuations
  • Processing surrenders / partial encashments / withdrawals
  • Processing switches
  • Issuing policy documents
  • General typing of letters as and when required

We are seeking someone with a good grounding in financial services, who must have a sound understanding and a good level of experience within Investments or Pensions, ISA's & Protection, coupled with 2-3+ years working within a Financal Services or IFA environment, ideally with some experience of Report Writing.
