Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and creative HR Business Partner to join our team in Detroit.  This role reports directly to the VP HR for the iGaming Division and works in partnership with the iGaming HR CoE leads.  You will be responsible for partnering with our iGaming Americas (US, Canada and LatAm) MD and our Live Casino CEO fuelling our organisational and talent plans for our ambitious growth plans.
In the past year alone we have made three acquisitions (our Live Casino business being one of these) and are going through a divestment in amongst a huge growth phase.  There is lots of work to do whether it’s shaping and implementing good practice data, insight and processes or building talent initiatives and driving change.

As an HRBP you will

  • Contribute directly to the success of the business by supporting and partnering with the Senior Leaders across iGaming and Live Casino
  • Define people strategies that drive employee retention, change, improve performance, maximise colleague engagement and develop talent. 
  • Coach and counsel leadership and management on all HR policies, programs and employee related issues
  • Respond to employee relations issues and conduct investigations for employee complaints, harassment allegations, wrongful termination claims and performance management issues
  • Ensure our compliance with relevant US, Canadian and LatAm legislation
  • With the assistance of our Operations and Compensation team you will provide guidance and advice on our overall compensation programs while ensuring pay equity amongst our employees.
  • Implement and communicate policies and procedures to employees
  • Serves as a liaison between employees and management
  • Lead and pilot strategic HR projects for implementation globally

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Skilled and experienced business partnering, organisational development and change, talent management, performance management, reward and learning and development.
  • Technology and possibly Gaming experience
  • Understanding of agile working
  • Creative mindset with track experience of driving through innovative, market leading people interventions
  • Able to respond and adapt quickly under pressure, identifying and implementing process change where appropriate, with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working with employees at all levels within a matrixed organization across as variety of sites and disciplines; able to interact and influence up to exec level.
  • Commercially aware and customer focused, displaying strong competencies in coaching, influencing, process development, analysis and problem solving.
  • Experience of identifying and implementing appropriate development solutions within an unstructured environment.
  • Experience of integrating acquired businesses.
  • Experience delivering organizational change within a growing business
  • Ability to speak French is a plus
