Job Description

LNW is looking for a self-motivated, highly experienced Head of Studio Tech & Build  to join our growing Studio and Technical Operations team that supports our online gaming solutions with the aim to deliver the highest quality studio tables. This role is a key position within our online studio gaming solutions sector.
You will be setting up new studios from scratch, and/or also supporting studios already in operation.

As Head of Studio Tech & Build you will ideally have previous experience building Live Casino Studios or equivalent. The ideal candidate must have exceptional technical knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, video equipment and encoders, studio schematic design, structured cabling and some IT and networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

You will manage a team that can deliver projects on time as well as be responsible for a number of upcoming Live Casino Studios across the USA.
Work with the Head of Delivery and other managers to oversee installations and operations of our gaming studios - their camera configurations, lenses, ceiling and ground camera support rigs, tally lights, monitors, video and network cabling, including the design of such systems in accordance with the company’s practices.

Participate in the R & D and solution design processes and suggest best implementations while making best use of the chosen equipment.

Preparation and overseeing of maintenance schedules for video, audio, IT and streaming equipment according to the company's practices. Create, maintain and enforce necessary documentation for our gaming solutions and the related equipment installed in venues. Coordinate and orchestrate maintenance of equipment for best results.

You will be responsible for hiring local team members as we expand the business.

  • Great leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Great communication skills - spoken and written
  • Advanced computer knowledge
  • Network configuration and general networking setup are considered an asset,  as most modern cameras are connected to networks for control and operation
  • High sense of responsibility and pride in one’s team
  • Designing, maintaining and updating schematics and documentation of installations
  • Good knowledge of photography/video theory
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team of heads
  • Schedule assigned teams

Additional Information

Previous studio management, broadcast or streaming work experience, and/or lighting knowledge are considered an asset

Must be able to travel (obtain / maintain valid passport status) in order to support teams in other offices and attend training overseas
