Company Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Platform Manager to oversee the stability, scalability, and release lifecycle of a complex Salesforce ecosystem supporting Sales, Marketing, and Client Success teams.

This role will act as the platform steward responsible for environment management, release orchestration, and CI/CD governance while enabling multiple development teams to safely build and deploy solutions across the Salesforce platform.

You will work closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams to maintain production stability, evaluate new Salesforce platform capabilities, and support the safe adoption of emerging Salesforce technologies including Agentforce and Data Cloud.

Enterprise experience strongly preferred.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Salesforce platform environment strategy across development, QA, staging, and full sandbox environments
  • Coordinate sandbox refresh cycles and data masking to maintain testing environments that closely mirror production
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce Signature Support and coordinate resolution of high-priority platform issues
  • Lead the end-to-end release management process for Salesforce seasonal releases (Spring, Summer, Fall)
  • Evaluate upcoming Salesforce platform changes, perform impact analysis, and communicate release implications to stakeholders
  • Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Copado, including version control and deployment governance
  • Define and enforce best practices for Salesforce deployments, testing, and release management
  • Design and implement a federated development strategy enabling multiple teams to safely build on the platform simultaneously
  • Lead governance processes to maintain platform stability, metadata integrity, and technical standards
  • Oversee the configuration and governance of Agentforce capabilities integrated into business workflows
  • Support platform adoption of emerging Salesforce technologies including Data Cloud

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience managing Salesforce platform environments and release lifecycles
  • Expert proficiency with Copado for CI/CD and Salesforce release orchestration
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce multi-tenant architecture and governor limits
  • Experience managing business-critical production Salesforce environments
  • Experience working with Salesforce Signature Support or similar enterprise support tiers
  • Hands-on experience working within the Salesforce development environment including custom objects, workflows, triggers, SOQL, and SOSL
  • Ability to translate complex technical releases into business-friendly communication for stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud including ingestion, modeling, and activation
  • Experience working with Salesforce Agentforce capabilities
  • Salesforce certifications such as Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Administrator
  • Development experience with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning frameworks (Aura or LWC)
  • Experience building scalable solutions using both declarative and configuration-driven Salesforce development approaches
