LifeTies, Inc. is a Mercer County, 501(c)3 non-profit established in 1981. The mission of LifeTies is to nurture wellness and self-sufficiency in vulnerable youth, young adults and their families LifeTies, Inc. is a supportive network of professional staff and trained volunteers dedicated to creating programs for youth to overcome the effects of abuse, neglect or homelessness. Our programs offer a nurturing, safe environment to heal, learn and become equipped with the tools to work towards a brighter future.

Job Description

The Program Director must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in behavioral science with 3 years of residential experience; as well as 3-5 years of supervisory and program management experience.    Licensure in Social Work or other related field is highly preferred.  A bilingual professional who is Spanish speaking; and those with experience working with LGBTQ+ are highly encouraged to apply.  The Program Director must have a valid driver license and pass criminal background and other agency background checks. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee all aspects of Triad House's program operations to ensure compliance, and that services conform to high standards of professional practice.

SUPERVISES:

All group home administrative team members:  Case Manager, Clinician, Nurse and Residential Team Leaders

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Carrying out the mission, policies and procedures of LifeTies, Inc.
  • Overseeing all operations of the 24 hour group home, its persons served and staff
  • Ensuring program compliance with all regulations and certifications
  • Initiating and maintaining regular meeting schedule with program external partners to ensure strong collaboration and grant obligations are met successfully
  • Interviewing, hiring and training program staff if vacancies occur
  • Overseeing admission and discharge operations of the home
  • Supervise and evaluate all direct reports
  • Managing scheduling and time reporting
  • Facilitating departmental staff meetings
  • Engaging in all aspects of data collection and data analysis to inform program practices
  • Ensuring all internal and external reporting for group homes is completed/submitted on time
  • Providing input into agency newsletter
  • Collaborating openly with all departments at the agency
  • Community networking – attend partner/funder meetings (e.g., monthly Youth Service Commission Meeting, CIACC) to maintain LifeTies’ visibility.
  • Respond to all crisis situations in the group home
  • Responsible for 24 hour on call duties

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in behavioral science with 2 years of residential experience; as well as 2 years of supervisory and program management experience.

Sign-On Bonus:  $1500.00

The bonus will be paid in two installments, half will be paid on the next regularly scheduled pay date after you start employment with LifeTies, Inc., the other half will be paid 12 months  after date of hire.   The sign on bonus is taxable, and all regular payroll taxes will be withheld.  In the event you leave LifeTies, Inc. within 12 months of your date of hire, you will be responsible for reimbursing LifeTies, Inc. for the entire sign on bonus.
