Job Description

The Triad House Therapist must possess a NJ- LSW/LCSW, LAC/LPC; a minimum of three years of experience working with youth and young adults. Knowledge of and commitment to serving LGBTQ+ youth is essential to this role. Therapists must have a valid driver’s license; pass a criminal background check and all other agency requirements.

Qualifications

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Triad House Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapies; referrals to community agencies and completes treatment plans. It is the expectation that the ideal candidate is competent in diverse treatment modules to engage youth and families in treatment.  The Therapist will serve as a member of the group home administrative team providing clinical feedback as needed. The Therapist will work collaboratively with community organizations in service to youth.

SUPERVISED BY: Interim Director of Program Operations

SUPEVISES: Clinical interns on occasion

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

 

  • Supervising Masters and Bachelors level interns
  • Complying with all DCF Manual requirements, CARF standards and other agency contractual agreements
  • Providing a minimum of 2 hours of individual therapy per week per person served; and 3 hours of group
  • Serving as a member of the Treatment Team for each person served
  • Preparation and dissemination of clinical assessments, updates, reports, and treatment plans at designated intervals. 
  • Facilitating referrals to community agencies for supplemental services
  • Coordinating and facilitating educational groups and workshops (Psychoeducational); and allied therapies (art, music physical, etc). 
  • Utilizing Apricot - an electronic records database or all record keeping  
  • Community networking  
  • Participating in scheduled agency staff meetings and agency/community workshops and training
  • Respond to all crisis situations
  • Responsible for 24 hour on call duties as arranged by Director

Clinical

  • Participate in clinical supervision with Clinical Supervisor.(paid by agency)
  • Provide clinical/behavioral support/training for staff
  • Conduct weekly individual group and individual sessions for youth
  • Attend community training for skills development and to maintain license  
  • Responsible for the administration of clinical, behavioral or program assessments

Employee Classification:  Full-time (40 hours a week).

Salary/Compensation:  $55,000 annually plus $3500 Signing Bonus:

The bonus will be paid in two installments, $1750 will be paid on the next regularly scheduled pay date after you start employment with LifeTies, Inc., $1750 will be paid six months after date of hire.   The sign on bonus is taxable, and all regular payroll taxes will be withheld.  In the event you leave LifeTies, Inc. within 12 months of your date of hire, you will be responsible for reimbursing LifeTies for the entire sign on bonus.
