LifeTies, Inc. is hiring Residential Support Professionals to work in residential homes in Ewing and Trenton (Mercer County) with high functioning youth and young adults.

Part time and per diem positions pay $17.00/hr

- Part time- must commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week

- Per Diem must commit to a minimum of 8 hours per month

Responsibilities and Duties

The Residential Support Professional is charged with the duty to provide genuine care and concern; evidenced based behavior support; and teach life-skills for our persons served who range in age from 12-21.  

Essential Functions: Include the following, other duties may be assigned

  • Supervising daily interactions in the group home and in the community.
  • Fostering positive relationships with persons served, families, team members, providers and other community members.
  • Serving as advocates for persons served; and teaching them to appropriately self-advocate.
  • Facilitating life skills activities (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, organization).
  • Completing well written electronic documentation of activities in the home, behaviors of persons served, and  life skills activities.
  • Administering first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Ensuring the privacy and dignity of persons served.
  • Providing transportation to and from school, recreational activities, and therapeutic leaves.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED wth 3 years experience or BSW/BA/BS in related field with 1 year experience.  All experience must have been in an organization or school setting with youth ages 12-21 with behavioral health challenges; who identify as LGBTQ+; or have a chronic health condition.  Must have a driver's license in good standing; complete criminal and other background checks.

The bonus will be paid in two installments, half will be paid on the next regularly scheduled pay date after you start employment with LifeTies, Inc., the other half will be paid 12 months  after date of hire.   The sign on bonus is taxable, and all regular payroll taxes will be withheld.  In the event you leave LifeTies, Inc. within 12 months of your date of hire, you will be responsible for reimbursing LifeTies, Inc. for the entire sign on bonus.
