LifeTies, Inc. is hiring Residential Support Professionals to work in residential homes in Ewing and Trenton (Mercer County) with high functioning youth and young adults.

Full time and part time positions are available on 1st/2nd/3rd shifts on weekdays and weekends. These positions pay between $13.00-15.00 hourly.  LifeTies, Inc. also provides paid training.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Residential Support Professional is charged with the duty to provide genuine care and concern; evidenced based behavior support; and teach life-skills for our persons served who range in age from 12-21.  

Essential Functions: Include the following, other duties may be assigned

  • Supervising daily interactions in the group home and in the community.
  • Fostering positive relationships with persons served, families, team members, providers and other community members.
  • Serving as advocates for persons served; and teaching them to appropriately self-advocate.
  • Facilitating life skills activities (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, organization).
  • Completing well written electronic documentation of activities in the home, behaviors of persons served, and  life skills activities.
  • Administering first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Ensuring the privacy and dignity of persons served.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; BSW/BA/BS is preferred; 3 years working in an organization or school setting with youth ages 12-21 with behavioral health challenges; LGBTQ+; pregnant and parenting and/or with chronic health conditions.  Must have a driver's license in good standing; complete criminal and other background checks.

$1,000 for FT

$500 for PT

The bonus will be paid in two installments, half will be paid on the next regularly scheduled pay date after you start employment with LifeTies, Inc., the other half will be paid 6 months  after date of hire.   The sign on bonus is taxable, and all regular payroll taxes will be withheld.  In the event you leave LifeTies, Inc. within 12 months of your date of hire, you will be responsible for reimbursing LifeTies, Inc. for the entire sign on bonus.  The sign on bonus is taxable, and all regular payroll taxes will be withheld.  In the event you leave LifeTies, Inc. within 4 months of your date of hire, you will be responsible for reimbursing LifeTies, Inc. for the entire sign on bonus.
