Job Description

The Residential Support Team Lead must have a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.  Five years’ minimum experience working with high functioning youth is required along with experience working with the population served. Three years administrative and supervisory experience required. The Residential Support Team Lead must have a valid driver's license and complete background checks and all other agency requirements. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Engagement, monitoring, and supervision of persons served; Supervision of residential staff as assigned

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Responsible for learning and carrying out the mission, vision and policies and procedures of LIFETIES, INC.
  • Responsible for being a positive representative of LIFETIES, INC in your appearance, actions and demeanor at all times
  • Responsible for appropriate attire and professional behavior at all times
  • Responsible for being a role model and provide appropriate guidance when needed
  • Responsible for persons served supervision and monitoring
  • Responsible for daily data entry into an electronic case management database 
  • Responsible to participate in all scheduled staff meetings, training and workshops
  • Responsible for petty cash – ensuring that staff has given all receipts and documentation has been completed daily
  • Responsible for ensuring that all shift responsibilities sheets, vehicle logs and vehicle inspection has been completed daily
  • Responsible for ensuring that monthly fire drills and emergency drills has been completed
  • Responsible for reviewing the calendar daily and take responsibility for ensuring that staff has completed  the task in a timely manner
  • Responsible for persons served transportation- following group home policies and regulations
  • Responsible for medication monitoring- documenting when medication is administered 
  • Report any incident, behavior or accident reports to supervisors and/or administrators
  • Responsible to assist  person served with achieving case action plans goals and documenting progress notes electronically
  • Responsible for documenting all incidents into database prior to end of shift
  • Responsible for ensuring that staff has documented all incidents into database prior to end of shift
  • Responsible for ensuring that all duties has been met prior to end of shift
  • Respond to all crisis situations on shift
  • Responsible for teaching life skills to which include meal preparation, nutrition and housekeeping
  • Responsible for light housekeeping duties as assigned
  • Responsible for assisting Medical Team Lead in all facets of resident medical care
  • Responsible for the supervision and training of Residential Support Professionals
  • Responsible for monitoring household needs, doing grocery shopping when needed
  • Responsible for overseeing staff scheduling and shift responsibilities
  • Responsible for supervising infant/child daily stimulation sessions and feeding charts (if assigned to Rainbow House) 
  • Responsible for providing child care to children/infants (if assigned to Rainbow House)
  • Responsible for supporting/supervising Mommy and Me youth and babies (if assigned to Rainbow House)
  • Responsible for participating in recreational activities with the persons served when assigned
  • Collaborating with team regarding meal planning and household supplies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The Residential Support Team Lead must have a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.  Three years’ minimum experience working with youth and families is required along with experience working with the population served. Three years administrative/office organization experience and three years' experience as a supervisor is required.  The Residential Support Team Lead must have a valid driver’s license and pass a criminal background check and all other agency requirements.

    The bonus will be paid in two installments, $500 will be paid on the next regularly scheduled pay date after you start employment with LifeTies, Inc., $500 will be paid twelve months after date of hire.   The sign on bonus is taxable, and all regular payroll taxes will be withheld.  In the event you leave LifeTies, Inc. within 12 months of your date of hire, you will be responsible for reimbursing LifeTies for the entire sign on bonus.
