 Essential Functions:



  • Observes, records and reports to supervising
    therapist(s) the conditions, reactions, and responses of
    patients/residents/clients assigned to his/her duties

  • Responsible for patient/resident/client’s
    personal care and environment throughout the treatment

  • Follows established procedures and observes
    safety precautions in the use of modalities and procedures.

  • Carries out positioning and reconditioning
    exercises.

  • Trains patients/residents/clients in specific
    exercises, ambulation and activities of daily living

  • Assists in measuring, fitting and training of
    prosthesis, orthosis, wheelchairs, ambulation devices and other assistive
    devices.

     

    Minimum Qualification Standards:

















  • Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant
    Education Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or a
    comparable accrediting agency.



  • Licensure in the
    State of Minnesota.
