Job Description

LifeCare Medical Center, the employer of choice, has a dynamic
opportunity for the right individual as an Occupational Therapist.  This fulltime position performs and analyzes
tests and measurements of disabilities resulting from disease and injury. The
ideal candidate is detail orientated, self-motivated and proficient to perform

 Essential Functions:



  • Properly evaluates
    patients and plans therapy programs consistent with standard procedures.

  • Applies proper
    diagnostic and prognostic tests to determine functional ability level of
    development.

  • Treats patients using a
    prescribed treatment plan and treatment procedures consistent with doctor's
    orders and policy and procedure.

  • Correctly determines
    need for and constructs supportive, protective and/or adaptive devices and equipment.

  • Provides individuals
    with available sources to
    obtain
    therapeutic equipment.

  • Cares for patients
    according to growth and development. Neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults
    and geriatrics.

  • Assists in
    developing new programs of patient treatment.















Preferred requirements:



  • Bachelor of Science in
    Occupational Therapy from accredited institution



offering this
specialty.



  • Must be eligible for
    certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association.



  • MN License.
