Job Description
- Receive merchandise, checks and sign delivery receipt/bill of lading
- Verify the quality and quantity of items against supporting documents. I.e. purchase orders, bill of lading or packing slip
- Accept or return merchandise according to established procedures
- Correspond with establishment representatives to correct issues and discrepancies
- Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for transport
- Contact carrier representatives to make transport arrangements
- Assist other departments as needed
- The receiving clerk must have excellent vision or vision correctable to 20/20
- The receiving clerk must excellent written and communication skills
Qualifications
- 2 years or more of Warehouse Receiving experience
- Knowledge of common Warehouse procedures
- Forklift and/or pallet jack experience, required
- Ability to lift up to 90 pounds using proper safety methods
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
