Who is LiSA?

LiSA makes shopping an immersive experience instead of a necessary evil. Some of the world's best brands (Marks and Spencer, LÓreal, P&G and Coach) use our software to power their social commerce story.  

“We are family” is the scariest thing you can see on a job description. But LiSA actually has family across the team. Our story began with a couple trying to modernise a multigenerational traditional retail store in Dusseldorf, German. Now we are growing internationally and remote first with a focus on keeping our friendly culture.

As of January 2023, the LiSA team is 46% women with leadership at the very top in Sophie Frères, our CEO.

We are a collection of digital nomads, working parents, retail experts, multi-linguists and chilli shot aficionados.

All of us value flexibility and focus on what we produce instead of watching the clock. Walk your dog, pickup your kid, start early/finish late. It's up to you.

Why did the functional component feel lost? Because it didn't know what STATE it was in!

We have more hilarious React jokes but you have to apply to unlock them.

We focused on scripting our infrastructure in 2022. This has led to a great improvement in release and sprint cycle. Now in 2023 we want to find a front end engineer to take a lead on new work in React/Native and our Angular core stack.

Here is what you will be working on 

• A shopper facing social commerce interface that handles the buying process, chat and streaming options
• A admin dashboard and console for the retailer to control things
• Custom SDK builds in partnership with major clients

You will be able to see your work being used every day by real users who are very comfortable with giving you their thoughts. The overall LiSA team are also retail geeks so they are a fountain of feedback. This is the opposite of maintaining a legacy monolithic back office product.

The salary is €80,000 to €90,000 per year.

Requirements

• Hands on experience building React and React Native applications
• Working knowledge of Angular
• Can lead on UI look and feel with strong HTML and CSS skills
• Track record in a startup or building new products without massive budgets
• Open communicator with confident written and spoken English
• Collaborative worker who loves remote first environments
