To effectively implement our country strategy, water aid Nigeria is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions to be based at our office in Abuja, Nigeria.

Job Description

The role will support the Head of programmes in ensuring quality program delivery by water aid and its partners. This will include responsibilities for coordinating the development and implementation of realistic and achievable annual state programme plans.

Effective tracking of progress against these plans.

Support to the programme monitoring and evaluation team towards ensuring timely delivery of agreed work plans by partners.

Ensuring effective information flow between water aid and its partners etc

 

Qualifications

Minimum requirements are a university degree+ master’s degree in the natural engineering and social sciences or other relevant field.

Possession of a minimum of seven years work experience at least three of which must be in a development program management/coordination role. The ideal candidate will be required to demonstrate a sound understanding and experience working with and managing partnership with civil society and governmental stakeholders to implement development projects.

The ideal candidate would also demonstrate strong competencies in writing projects reports of excellent quality for diverse audience and have at least 3 years experience working in the WASH sector.
