Job Description
- BSc Civil/Structural Engineering (minimum of second class lower) from any reputable institution. A post graduate and relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- Working experience 10 -15 years in the construction industry project management experience/qualification.
- Must have clear understanding of project specification and in depth knowledge of applicable civil design codes and practices.
- Must be familiar with civil and structural engineering design computer programs and general software.
- Must be confident, hardworking, honest and result oriented.
Qualifications
- The role of the project manager encompasses many activities which includes but not limited to the following:
- Display thorough knowledge and administration of contract terms, polices and conditions.
- Manage the handling and certification of payments.
- Oversees performance of all site contractors and review architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specification and regulations are followed.
- Ability to diagnose, evaluate and negotiate solution to project management problems.
- Must be familiar with international accepted standards of quality, health safety and environment.
