Job Description
- Develop and deliver the consumer and customer segment strategies and facilitate the formulation of the marketing strategy in GSK pharmaceuticals, AWA by integrating strategic, operational brand and trade planning. Ensure that marketing insights and information platform (processes and system) is fit-for-purpose to support informed decision making.
- Work with marketing excellence Director to drive the tactical execution of Rx AWA business plan in integrated across all function and aligned with the defined business strategy.
- Implement plans to ensure line of sight from consumer segment strategies through to marketing and sales activities.
- Implement a comprehensive, integrated and effective cycle grid for Rx AWA
- -information systems effectively support the planning process.
- -ensure development and refinement of actionable and meaningful customer segment (trade cluster), for the area.
- -recommend priority segments, objective and approach.
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain process
- Ensure that all key performance indicators are clearly defined, objectively analyzed and reported on in quantifiable business term across the marketing organization.
- Implement the integrated long-term macro-economical forecasts for the total tobacco market, short-term forecasts and competitive business scenarios as input to corporate and marketing plans.
- Maintain highest organizational capability of consumer, customer and market insight.
- Ensure implementation of all marketing research and information common platforms and best practices.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive competitive analysis consumer pricing guidelines, providing market context and consumer requirements, and develop strategic scenarios (e.g. price, war).
Qualifications
- Ideally, not less than 8 years management experience in a similar FMCG category.
- Preference for both marketing and sales experience.
- Marketing and sales strategy development.
- Oracle methodologies/MRand I common platforms and best practice.
- Forecasting techniques
- Competitor’s analysis.
- Research management and design.
- Consumer and customer engagement.
- Marketing planning processes.
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Ability to solve conflicts among areas/functions.
