A reputable investment company based in Lagos requires dynamic and resourceful persons to fill the following positions:
Job Description
- To maximize returns from its securities portfolio by designing optimal development / exit strategies without compromising financial system stability.
- Assist in general portfolio management within all asset classes, executing the corporation's investment strategy/policy.
- Invest corporate actions in an efficient and profitable manner. Maintain overall portfolio compliance
- Work on various assignments as it pertains to the role, and may otherwise be assigned by senior management.
- Contribute to the corporation’s primary objective of generating alpha for the corporation without compromising financial system stability.
Qualifications
- University first degree in a relevant field, minimum second class lower
- Master’s degree preferred
- A relevant professional qualification such as the CFA would be an advantage

KNOWLEDGE:
- NSE trading rules and securities trading cycles in Nigeria
- SEC guidelines and provisions of the Investment & Securities Act (ISA)
- Capital market products
- Genuine interest in fixed income and equities securities’ investing
- Successful experience working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; drive to succeed.
Additional Information
- Minimum 5-8 years in one or more areas of research, bond / securities trading, investment management and capital markets product development
