A reputable investment company based in Lagos requires dynamic and resourceful persons to fill the following positions:

Job Description

  • To maximize returns from its securities portfolio by designing optimal development / exit strategies without compromising financial system stability.
  • Assist in general portfolio management within all asset classes, executing the corporation's investment strategy/policy.
  • Invest corporate actions in an efficient and profitable manner. Maintain overall portfolio compliance
  • Work on various assignments as it pertains to the role, and may otherwise be assigned by senior management.
  • Contribute to the corporation’s primary objective of generating alpha for the corporation without compromising financial system stability.

Qualifications

  • University first degree in a relevant field, minimum second class lower
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • A relevant professional qualification such as the CFA would be an advantage

  • NSE trading rules and securities trading cycles in Nigeria

  • Genuine interest in fixed income and equities securities’ investing
  • Successful experience working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; drive to succeed.

Additional Information

  • Minimum 5-8 years in one or more areas of research, bond / securities trading, investment management and capital markets product development
